Public safety starts with fast, reliable emergency response. That is why Green Valley Fire Station 36 matters so much to our neighborhoods.
From groundbreaking to opening
I attended the Fire Station 36 groundbreaking ceremony in August 2025. The station is set to open in January 2027, to further reduce response times.
Two fire stations for Cordelia and Green Valley
With Station 36, the City will have two fire stations serving Cordelia and Green Valley. I also supported consolidating the Cordelia Fire District and the Cordelia fire station on Lopes Road, to improve efficiency and cut costs even as calls for service increase.
Why it matters
When a family calls for help, the time it takes for a crew to arrive can change the outcome. A new station in Green Valley is an investment in every neighbor, business and visitor in our district.
